We start with curiosity, not the assumption that you already know what you’re doing.
You’ll explore what AI can do, where it falls short, and how to use it for things that matter in your everyday life or work. We practice asking questions, giving useful context, and looking critically at what comes back. There’s room to experiment, ask questions, and discover what feels useful to you.
The goal isn’t to learn every tool or become a tech expert. It’s to leave with a starting point, practical experience, and more confidence about taking your next step.
That’s a perfectly good way to begin. Plenty of people want to explore AI on their own terms, without a group watching, and one-on-one sessions are built for exactly that.
It’s just the two of us, focused on your questions, your interests, and what you want to accomplish. Maybe you’re just getting started. Maybe you’ve been experimenting and want help making sense of it all. Or maybe you have a particular project in mind. We start where you are and work at a pace that makes sense for you.
You’ll also have something to return to afterward: a written transcript of our time together and, when applicable, a transcript of our conversation with the AI tool. These give you a record of what we explored, how we asked questions, and what came back, so you can revisit the process and keep working with the tool after our session.
When you’re ready to join others, the classes and Coffee Chat will be here.
In-person learning is at the heart of URŌn Discovery. I love being in the room with people: exploring together, answering questions as they come up, and helping you work through something while you’re trying it.
I offer classes in my Mount Horeb classroom and can bring workshops to your business, organization, or community. One-on-one sessions can be in person, online, or a combination of the two.
Online workshops aren’t part of my regular schedule at this time, but I’m happy to discuss coordinating one for your group.
I have a classroom in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, and I’m happy to bring a workshop to you.
Whether you’re gathering a business Team, a professional organization, or a community group, we can talk about creating an experience for your people in your space. For workshops requiring travel, travel expenses are covered in addition to the workshop fee. We’ll agree on those details before you book.
A customized workshop is a class built around your group. It uses the same teaching approach as my public classes, but the objectives, examples, exercises, and pacing are shaped by your work, your questions, and your people. Your objectives are set before the session, so the class is designed to reach them.
Customized workshops start at $2,000 for a half-day (3 hours) with up to 15 learners, workbook included. The final price depends on the length of the session, the size of your group, how much content we build new for you, and where we meet. After our consultation, you’ll receive a clear quote with no surprises.
Start with a conversation. Tell me a little about your group, what you’re curious about, and any dates you have in mind. If you know your approximate group size and where you’d like to meet, include that too.
You don’t need to arrive with a finished plan or know all the right AI terms. We can talk through what would be useful and create a workshop that fits your group.
